ValveTrack™

No More Version Confusion. No More Data Gaps. Just Trusted Valve Data.

A dedicated subsea valve management system to track valve status, plan and execute valve operations and maintain reliable documentation for handover. It replaces the spreadsheet-based processes that are fragmented and time-consuming for engineers, reducing the likelihood of valve maloperations.

7-minute walkthrough: the challenge and a live product demo

The old way

  • Information spread across multiple files, tabs, and data sources. Different versions contain conflicting data, making it hard to know what’s current.
  • Waiting to confirm valve status often requires sending an ROV or vessel to verify. No evidence that valves have been operated correctly.
  • Generating valve status PDFs and reports requires extensive administrative effort. Onshore engineers spend hours managing spreadsheets instead of focusing on operations.
  • Planning operations in spreadsheets can involve hundreds of tabs, making it inefficient and unclear whether plans are ready to execute.
  • No historical record of who made changes or when. Hard to track decisions or confirm past operations.

The ValveTrack way

  • Complete and up-to-date view of valve status, history, and planned operations in one system, eliminating conflicting versions and scattered data.
  • Capture valve data directly in the field using mobile devices with consistent logging and image capture. Build a reliable data foundation that improves efficiency and makes future campaigns and operations run more smoothly.
  • Generate complete reports in minutes without manual consolidation, reducing administrative work and freeing up engineering time.
  • Work from a single source of truth with full traceability of changes, improving alignment across teams and reducing reliance on emails and file exchanges.
  • Your valve data connects to SAP, FieldTwin, and beyond — no manual sync

See what our users say

We purchased ValveTrack to maintain a better control overview of the entire field, that will be involving several tie-in developments in the future. As a bonus, if we only save one vessel day a year doing fly-by inspections of valve positions – we have recuperated 2-4 times the annual investment of the software itself. Thanks to flexibility of valve management with ValveTrack, we identified potential to opitmize vessel transit time by performing the valve operations in the most effective way by two vessels in the field, based on their actual location and scope. It contributed not just to efficiency of operations but also to reducing the CO2 emissions. Pre-com Lead Engineer

I have been navigating my way round the tool and I like what I see so far, for myself as the client rep onboarding it is a good tool to see the valve status, I findf drawing schematic is especially good showing the valve status by colour and physically where it is in the system Worksite Representative

Features

Add and Track Valve Status

Centralise all valve data in one system. Track operational parameters such as torque over time, and analyze performance by valve type, size, location, or supplier. Record historical changes, comments, and issues, and generate valve status reports with a single click.

Try this feature

Plan Valve Operations

Create and manage operation plans in a single view, eliminating the need for multiple spreadsheet tabs. Onshore engineers can assign tasks efficiently and keep all planning information organized and accessible in one place.

Try this feature

Execute Planned Operations

Offshore engineers can open planned operations, execute tasks, and register comments or issues directly in ValveTrack. Perform valve status checks, add “As Observed” and “As Left” images, and maintain a clear record of what was done in the field.

Documentation and Handover Report

Contextualize additional documents, specifications, or calibration certificates for valves or specific operations. Include images and interactive P&ID diagrams for visual clarity. Generate handover reports in one click, saving time and ensuring consistent, accurate documentation.

Open API Integration

Seamlessly share valve data from ValveTrack with systems like SAP, FieldTwin, and Cognite Data Fusion through open API integration. This ensures teams work from a consistent, up-to-date source of information across platforms. Instead of remaining isolated, valve data becomes part of a connected digital ecosystem.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Currently, ValveTrack is designed to handle valves. However, some users have also used it to track components like MQCs. We are actively engaging with our user community to prioritize future development, including support for additional subsea components.

  • ValveTrack primarily supports manually operated valves. However, it also accommodates valves that can be remotely controlled with ROV override. These valves can be managed within the system, and if manual intervention is required, the record can be activated in ValveTrack to capture relevant operational data.

  • ValveTrack is offered on a subscription basis, with pricing calculated per valve per year. The cost per valve decreases as the total number of valves increases.
