Enhancing Safety in Drilling Operations
When AkerBP encountered an unexpected washout incident three days into drilling a satellite production well, BOP movements and soil erosion raised immediate concerns about structural integrity. By integrating SWIM™ measurements with detailed simulations, 4Subsea defined a safe window of operations and supported mitigation measures including gravel dumping and installation of Wellhead Load Reliefs.
