Powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence, SWIM™ detects and manages issues like shallow gas/water, structural wellhead failures, and conductor instability.

With SWIM™, operators can optimise well reuse and maximise wellhead life. Predictive models and accumulated wellhead load data support scheduling and operational decisions based on weather forecasts and well criticality.

Enhancing Safety in Drilling Operations

When AkerBP encountered an unexpected washout incident three days into drilling a satellite production well, BOP movements and soil erosion raised immediate concerns about structural integrity. By integrating SWIM™ measurements with detailed simulations, 4Subsea defined a safe window of operations and supported mitigation measures including gravel dumping and installation of Wellhead Load Reliefs. AkerBP successfully completed drilling and transitioned the well to production.
